TEAM NEWSCAST: What’s News

Here is the team’s final requirement for the broadcasting principles course. I’d say we had a lot of fun working on this team newscast but our PC’s didn’t.

From experience, it is hard to edit when it is time to insert the motion graphic templates for news such as the lower thirds and transitions because it is consuming much of our RAM, CPU and GPU and some previews experience lag giving it a hard time when it comes to the timing of the text. So, I had to pray when rendering that my PC won’t face BSOD, The Blue Screen of Death when overheating. However, the team did a very great job because we are organized (props to our leader and her members) and it was fulfilling. It is time for our PC’s to lay rest for a while. For this type of activity I think it’s time to invest on PC Upgrades.
