Grammar Prowess in the Making?

The quiz was challenging because the type of questions is unique. It is not choosing the right verb, rather it is choosing the grammatical sentence or statement. It is an effective type of grammar quiz in my opinion because it tests how we apply the rules of grammar (subject and verb agreement, identifying the object, collective nouns, quantifiers, gerunds etc.) that we have learned in our high school.

It made me realize how odd the English grammar is. There are instances that some sentence are pleasant to the ears but they are ungrammatical. And sometimes, rules of basic linguistics can not be applied when it comes to grammar. In the end, I hope I did well in the grammar quiz especially it was timed, adding pressure. Well, pressure enables us to push ourselves unconsciously to do our very best.
